Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gas Alert mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Gas Alert provides informational estimates of blockchain network transaction fees ("gas") across supported networks, along with optional price alerts and cost estimates. The Service is provided for general informational purposes only.
2. No financial or transaction advice
Gas prices are estimates derived from public network and third-party data and can change from block to block. The Service is not financial, investment, tax, legal or transaction advice, and does not guarantee that any fee, confirmation time or price shown is accurate, complete or current. Always verify the actual fee in your wallet before submitting any transaction. You are solely responsible for your own transactions and decisions.
3. Eligibility and license
You must be able to form a binding contract and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the Service except as permitted by law; (b) use the Service to build a competing dataset or to scrape, resell or redistribute data at scale; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; or (e) circumvent security, rate limits or usage controls.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
The Service may offer optional paid features and subscriptions ("In-App Purchases"). All In-App Purchases are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Prices are shown before purchase. Subscriptions, if any, automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are charged to your Apple ID. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Except where required by law or Apple's policies, purchases are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple.
6. Advertising
The Service is supported in part by advertising, which may be provided by Google AdMob, Google AdSense or similar partners. Advertisements are not endorsements. Paid upgrades may remove ads as described in the App.
7. Third-party data and links
The Service relies on public blockchain explorers, node providers and price feeds. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, availability or content of third-party data or any linked third-party sites. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its name, logo, design, text and software, is owned by Gas Alert and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF DATA. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that alerts will always be delivered.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GAS ALERT AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, FUNDS, OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY TRANSACTION MADE IN RELIANCE ON FEE ESTIMATES OR MISSED, DELAYED OR INACCURATE ALERTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US $10.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including §§8–10) will survive.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
